Kröller-Müller Museum
In the middle of the Hoge Veluwe National Park lies the world-famous Kröller-Müller Museum. This museum of modern art exhibits works of famous artists including Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondriaan and Claude Monet. Hotel de Paasberg is the perfect base to explore the Hoge Veluwe National Park from. This wonderful area of the Netherlands is about 5,500 hectares in size, so there is more than enough to do! Forests, heaths, sand valleys, marshes and all associated flora and fauna can be found here. A wonderful journey of discovery!

Ede has something for everyone, from clothes to art. The Bospoort in the old centre is a place you definitely should not miss when you are going shopping. Moreover, the Saturday market in Ede in the largest (and most fun) in the province of Gelderland. Definitely worth a visit! The cities of Arnhem and Veenendaal also offer plenty of shopping opportunities.

History
Ede has a rich history. But what can still be felt throughout the city and its surrounding areas, is the turbulent past of World War II. Examples include the Airborne Commemoration on the Ginkelse Heide, the Ede Memorial Cemetery and the Military Cemetery on the Grebbeberg. The special May 4 and 5 activities in the nearby Wageningen also attract many visitors from abroad every year.

The immediate vicinity of Ede includes a number of town that are definitely worth a visit. The beautiful Gelderse capital of Arnhem (complete with nice terraces and beautiful sights, such as the Burgers Zoo and the Dutch Open Air Museum), the cosy shopping city of Veenendaal and the historic centre of Wageningen are easily accessible from Hotel de Paasberg for a fun city trip.
